Many people ask us about this, and many are waiting for us to offer a November discount too. But over decades of work, we’ve developed values that don’t align with the consumerism Black Friday brings. What are those values?
1. Quality products at the same prices all year round. Any quality product has its price, no matter what. For Proalp footwear, we use good materials, which also come at a certain cost. As a footwear manufacturer, we’re in direct contact with our customers, and it matters to us to offer you fair prices. We wouldn’t “inflate” prices just so we could offer discounts later—we don’t find that ethical.
2. We have our own ways of offering customers benefits. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we offer you benefits that are sustainable for us as well. We occasionally run clearance sales of last pairs and sample pairs. When our work schedule allows, we make shoes in your chosen color at no extra charge. We adjust your footwear, and much more.
3. Our tradition and sustainable mindset encourage us to focus on our local holidays. We all know we’ve adopted many consumer habits from American culture, right? If we at Proalp are proud of our local shoemaking tradition and promote local and sustainable values, we’d rather invite you now and then to celebrate the holidays of our grandmothers and grandfathers with us.
We don’t celebrate Black Fridays. We’d rather celebrate every day you leave our store as a satisfied customer with new shoes. And we celebrate three times more when you come back to us with great feedback about using them. Let it stay that way.
