- Use, scope, and purpose of storage and processing
We store and process personal data to maintain contact with customers, send marketing information by email, promote sales, and profile customers in order to tailor content and product offers to customers in emails and on the website. For emails we send, we record message opens and clicks on links in received messages. To provide a better, more targeted offer and to tailor future messages, we automatically process, analyze, profile, and assess our customers’ interest in the messages sent based on the recorded data. We do not carry out automated decision-making based on the recorded data and created profiles.
For the purpose of email notifications, we store the following data:
- email address,
- first name,
- last name,
- phone number
- company name
We collect personal data with the explicit consent/permission of individuals. We store consents together with their content and the content of the form through which they were obtained.
- Transfer
The collected personal data is stored within the Republic of Slovenia and is not transferred to other countries under any circumstances.
- Retention period
We store the collected personal data of individuals until consent for the storage and processing of data is withdrawn. If an individual withdraws consent, we immediately permanently delete their personal data.
If the purposes described above for which we store and process personal data cease to apply in our company, we will immediately permanently delete the data sets whose purpose has ceased.
We keep data on opens of received messages and clicks on links in received messages for 12 months after the message is sent.
- How we protect the collected personal data
We always provide only content and information and never request credit card numbers or other data that could be misused by cybercriminals. The website www.proalp.si is hosted on a secure web server with a verified web services provider. The website is regularly updated by us. The website is subject to regular security checks and protections by the web services provider.
We use the collected personal data exclusively for the above-mentioned purposes of our own marketing and user notifications. We do not share the data with third parties, except with partners who help us maintain the website and who are obliged to protect personal data under the same conditions as apply to Proalp d.o.o.
In exceptional cases, in accordance with the law, we may provide your personal data to state and security authorities if they submit an official request for the disclosure of personal data.
- Individual rights
Any individual may request the following for their data at any time:

- correction,
- complete deletion,
- transfer to another provider of related services,
- restriction of processing and storage or withdrawal of consent for processing and storage, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent/permission before its withdrawal.
You can send the request by email to info@proalp.si with the note “UNSUBSCRIBE! – cessation of use of personal data” or in writing by post to the company’s registered office.
If our company wishes to further process personal data for a purpose other than the purpose for which the personal data was collected, we will provide the individual, before such further processing, with information about that other purpose and all further relevant information as set out in this document.
If an individual believes that their rights regarding the protection of their personal data have been violated by us in any way, they may at any time file a complaint with the supervisory authority – the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia:
