Choose the colour of your Contact C2 shoes
At Proalp workshop in Tržič, we craft a wide range of shoes every day, including custom pairs with colour combinations chosen by our customers. We are delighted to create shoes tailored to your taste, and many of you have already designed truly beautiful combinations.
Suggested colour palette
We offer a selection of suggested leather shades for the upper, which can be further expanded through an individual enquiry. You can also choose the colour of the sole.
Contact C2 ankle boots are classic barefoot ankle boots designed for natural movement and everyday comfort. Timeless and elegant, they pair effortlessly with both formal and casual outfits.

The C2 are timeless barefoot ankle boots that combine a classic look with full freedom of movement. Their versatile design makes them suitable for both smart and casual wear.
Natural walking sensation – like walking barefoot
The Contact C2 model is designed to allow the foot to spread naturally during walking, without restriction. This supports natural foot function, helps activate foot muscles, and contributes to better posture and overall body alignment.
Warm, breathable comfort
High-quality natural leather combined with a wool insole creates a warm yet breathable internal climate. These barefoot leather ankle boots are suitable for all-day wear in colder conditions as well as in mild weather.
Protection and durability
- Water-repellent leather, recommended to maintain with waterproofing spray or cream (depends on the leather type)
- Raised rubber sidewall protects against moisture and dirt
- Flexible barefoot sole with reliable grip
Barefoot sole with natural grip
A key feature of the Contact C2 model is the vulcanised rubber outsole made from a high-performance compound:
- anti-slip and wear-resistant
- 2.5 mm base sole with an additional 5 mm tread for improved grip and insulation
The thin, flexible sole keeps you close to the ground, providing a natural walking sensation with stability and control.

Shoe care helps maintain a good appearance, durability, and resistance to different weather conditions. Below are some practical tips.
Shoes made from smooth leather:
Occasionally wipe them with a damp cloth, which may include a drop of mild dishwashing liquid.
Clean shoes can be treated with a thin layer of colourless cream or leather balm, which should then be gently rubbed into the smooth leather using a dry cloth. When applying a new product, always test it on a less visible area before treating the entire surface.
Shoes made from suede, nubuck and brushed leather:
If dry and muddy, brush them with a suitable suede brush.
Occasionally wipe them with a damp cloth, which may include a drop of mild dishwashing liquid.
Once clean, apply a colourless waterproofing spray suitable for footwear.
For all Proalp shoes please also note:
Allow wet shoes to dry naturally in a shaded, well-ventilated area or indoors, away from direct heat sources.
Never soak them in water or wash them in a washing machine.
If desired, during the off-season you can stuff them with crumpled absorbent paper (e.g. newspaper) to help maintain their shape.
How often should be shoes cleaned and maintained?
Everyone has their own preferences, but we recommend cleaning and caring for your shoes a few times per season.
Ordered items that are in stock are dispatched within two working days of placing the order. For items that are not in stock, the average lead time is extended by approximately three working days. If the delivery time is further extended, we will notify you accordingly.

When developing our footwear, we place great importance on breathability and therefore use hydrophobic materials. With regular care, the shoes maintain their water-repellent properties, meaning they can withstand moisture in moderately wet conditions.
Delivery times vary depending on whether the shoes are already made and in stock. Shoes that are in stock are dispatched no later than the next working day. If a model is not currently in stock, it will usually be produced within a few days, and you will be notified accordingly. Should you place a special order with a longer delivery time, we will inform you in advance.
